Twenty years, three kids, and a few extra pounds after the ball, Cinderella spends part of her happily ever after taking on cases as a private investigator. For example, she helps a lisping damsel in distress by finding a fairy godmother’s very special make-over wand that’s gone missing. “Oh, Thinderella,” the girl says. “You gotta help me.” “Why me, dear?” Cinderella asks. “Shouldn’t you wish upon a star and all that jazz?” (That’s not the last time that pesky wand goes missing either.) In another case, a very sad giant asks for help. “Cinderella! I need to talk to you. Er, I mean, fee-fi-foe-fum. I smell the blood of an . . .
